San Francisco World Spirits Competition to prestiżowe zawody w świecie alkoholi mocnych, organizowane od 2000 roku w San Francisco. Ocena podesłanych przez producentów próbek dokonywana jest przez sędziów w tzw. ślepej degustacji, kiedy jedyną wiadomą odnośnie tego co w kieliszku jest moc i wiek trunku.
Aby trunek zasłużył na najwyższy medal Double Gold, wszyscy sędziowie muszą jednogłośnie ocenić go najwyżej w panelu degustacyjnym.
Nagroda na tychże zawodach, to nie tylko dodatkowe dyplom do powieszenia na ścianach destylarni, to przede wszystkim prestiż, zwiększone zainteresowanie świata whisky oraz zdecydowanie większa sprzedaż produktu.
